    Dye Pistol Dye!!

Hey guys just picked up a lil project pistol yesterday evening, a FMK-9c1 Gen 2. I bought it for $165 ($200 OTD). The price was right and I figured if I screwed it up I wouldn't loose to much money. Problem is it was the pink frame version and the trigger was absolutely horrible. Last night I bought some metal polish and went to work polishing the internals. After it was all said and done the trigger felt great compared to what it was like before. Today I dyed the frame dark green. It came out nice but I believe I left it in to long, it is very dark and looks almost black in some light. I may still duracoat it but at least now if the duracoat starts to wear off it wont show pink underneath. Here are some pics of what I did.

Nice, I have some rit dye coming in soon, I am going to experiment with dying my Pmags.
I dont have any polymer framed pistols, I have a glock being sent currently, but, it is OD already.
      That looks pretty good.

Great DIY. How long do you let it bath in the dye?
