    Finally got my P22

I've posted before about P22s and I got a bunch of mixed reviews. I finally picked mine up yesterday and went to the range today, I have to say I love this little 22. It had a pretty good grouping at about 7-10 yrds, I shot CCI high velocities, Magtech, and Aguila Subsonics when no feeding problem. Went through roughly about 300rds in a hour(it was my lunch break), I've even used Aguila Super Colibri which doesn't have gun powder and it's pretty short, and it chamber just fine, only thing I have to do after every round with the Colibri is pull the slide back to reload.
I know there are going to be some guys that didn't have the same experience I had, I would say sorry dude, try a new one, you'll like it.

It'd be great if yours worked properly. Keep shooting it let us know how it performs.
Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

sure thing, I'm planning to go to the range a little more with this, want to put at least 1000rds through this thing before I make myself a proud owner of a P22. I'll get pics of it tmrrw

I hope yours works. The P22 is the only one my wife will shoot so maybe there is hope.

I'll let you know, when I get there, maybe another two-three visits to the range.

I've had mine for about a year, and I'm quite fond of it. I've put several boxes of Remington Golden through it, and picked up three extra mags for it. I primarily bought it for my 11-year old stepdaughter, thinking that a Mark II or Buckmark would be too heavy for her. She really enjoys shooting it, and has gotten quite good with it. I haven't had any real problems with it. I did modify the extractor a bit, and polish the trigger bar ears - as detailed in "The P22 Bible" . I hadn't had any real trouble with it cycling or wearing the slide, but the brass was flying every which way.

I didn't pay attention to where the brass was flying, I'm too focus on the orange spot on dude in the white paper that was holding the other dude hostage.

The P22 sucks! It will jam up on you everytime.

Wanna trade it for a double Glock?

                  p22

The only thing bad about my p22 is that I had to send it back to the factory to get the barrel retrofitted so that I wouldn't have an "assault pistol".

If you are purchasing a P22, make sure it is california compliant.

I'm sure some poor soul will innocently get burnt by this Cal DOJ mess upp a few years back.

I recieved certified letters from DOJ at two different addresses on this gun, so they are going over the registration lists.

I enjoyed shooting my P22 when I had it. It was just wicked picky on ammo. It loved the cheap stuff, but just about any hollow point would jam. If I didn't keep it clean the safety would walk. I'm just not a high maintenance pistol kinda guy

Mine is the CA model so no threaded barrel on it.

I've had my P22 for a couple of years and it's been trouble free. I like the design and the look of the scaled down P99.

                          same here, I think it's 90% the size of a P99
