    Aimpoint Micro on a Glock

I was looking for some info on mounting an Aimpoint Micro on a Glock 17.

I was going to get a CAA Glock Scope Mount (shown here http://glockparts.com/store/item/1wd...ope_Mount.html).

I was going with the Micro because it was going to use in on a rifle as well.

I am sure it has been done before. Does anyone have any links for pics or opinions regarding this?

    Thanks.

Check out the scope mount from SJC Custom:

    SJC C-More mount

It's intended for a C-More but you can easily attach a piece of rail to it and then mount your Aimpoint. Another option is the Carver Mount.

Go look in the for sale forum, not guns but parts. There is a guy selling a Glock slide with a mini style red dot sight on it. He has some good pics, look clean and cool.

        Thanks for the help/direction.

        uscbigdawg, good idea. thanks.

I like the compact look of the SJC mount as opposed to the Carver mount.

One thing with the CAA scope mount you will probably have a hard time finding a holster that will work with that set up. A race style holster might work but I don't know. Mark

The SJC mounts is the standard by which others are compared. It really does EVERYTHING. Check out their Conversion Mount for the G17/22 and G34/35 to add a scope mount and compensator to your pistol, without removing the sights. Freakin' sweeeeeet!!!

I will have to find some picatinny rail to attach to the SJC and make sure that I drill that thing dead center.

I am thinking I can order some of the rail mounts that are used for attaching a verticle forward grip to some AR handgaurds.

Oh yeah, the SJC mount must be Black

              Looks like a fun project

I think Arrendando make bunch of race gun stuff.I know they make the holster and maybe the mount also.
