    The Springfield Professional Thread

Just wanted to start a thread about this gun because I rarely see it discussed here.

The Pro is my favorite pistol, period.

I bought my first one about a year ago when I found out that I owed a *lot* less taxes than I had planned and I just closed the deal on a second one.

I know there are at least a few other Pro owners on this board......

Feel free to discuss, add pictures, whatever you like!

Dammit. I'm gonna try my best not to drive down to San Diego so I can participate in this thread...

Driving down to SD Majik? Stop by Socal Gun and get the DW CBOB they have there for cheaper than Bud's Gun Shop... There were a bunch of Colts and a Springfield Loaded as well.

I wish someone local would get in a Desert Warrior as I've always wanted to check one of those out in person or at least have Lunde do a photoshoot on one.

ctbassman has his PRO on sale in the classifieds. But alas, I'm gonna be good and do my best to overlook it.

The owner claims 0 rounds through her.....it's believable seeing it's very tight and sticks like a new Baer. Only thing I see as a downfall about that is the fact that everyone can handle it and rack it. The black T on the hood is wearing to a point where it's hard to believe it's new. I would of zip tied her shut.

Still, not a bad price for 2100...too bad it's consignment and not PPT seeing you'll have to pay taxes.

it's quite amazing though, most of the gi or loaded spec stuff you can't even manipulate safety and mag release when new.

the trp is already smooth as butter.

the professional is like... uhhh is this used? has that perfectly worn in feel yet it's new...

Nah, I'm more of a Custom Carry kind of guy. The PRO is a great gun, but has features I don't like.
