    Glock 25 cent trigger job

I've been wanting to do this simple Glock trigger job (polish the friction points) for... about a decade or so and just got around to it.

I am pleased to announce it really works! Totally smoothed out the trigger and dropped the pull a pound or two and worked great in fact. Now only 4 more Glocks to go.

My gen2 glock 19 only has two take down pins instead of 3, other than that pretty simple.

Complete disassembly (incase you don't know how)

    And the actual trigger job.

Been thinking about doing it for my G34. When I get the time, I'm gonna do it.

      Thanks.
      Sorry, not sorry.

        It's worth it!
IMO do it by hand, not dremel.

I did the .25cent job on my G19 last year, awesome difference.

Also swapped to a Ghost Ultimate 3.5 Connector and 6.0LB Trigger Spring, trigger break is awesome and reset is much more refine/smoother.

The Glockstore polished my G23 internals, I bought a 3.5 lb connector & spring kit. Highly recommended if done properly.
Yes I took the pic, no I didn't go swimming!

Yup. Nothing like taking a little bit of time and getting to know your gun better.

A decade of regular shooting and dry fire would give you much better results . I tried the 25 cent job on a couple of my new Glocks and I never noticed a real difference. My smoothest Glock is the one with the most rounds through it . Glad you noticed a difference and learned more about your pistols!

I disagree 100%. It's my own experience that +-6k rounds and countless dry fire sessions with this particular Glock has nothing on the .25 trigger job.

                        Maybe you're doing it wrong?

Glock trigger pulls tend to vary out of the box. Some are good, some are great, and some need some work. If the trigger you have could benefit from some up front work, why shoot for 10 years with a bad trigger when you could start shooting today with a good or great one?

My brand new glock 19 had a trigger pull of 5.75. The glock store added a competition spring kit and a 3.5 connector. Now it has a 3.25 trigger pull.

How much more of an improvement should I expect If I do a 25 cent trigger job?

Thanks. Now I'll have something to fiddle with when I bored.
