Recently I have been having escalating problems with my Taurus 92 in that the magazine keeps dislodging after every 3 or 4 rounds fired. I can't go through an entire magazine without having to smack it back in and rack a new round in it. I checked my grip and it's not the way I am holding it, and it does it with every different magazine I try. I bought it second hand so I don't know if the warranty will apply. Could this be just a week magazine release spring not holding tight?

Mag release spring may be weak, that's a good place to start. Or you may find that the mag release tab is made of plastic or aluminum and those get chewed up by magazines made of metal.The wise man said just find your place

Bad mag catch. If you examine the magazine you will probably see a scrape
from the catch slipping out of the mag's catch port.
