    .32/.380

    I need help with a question.Can a 380 fire a .32 like a .357 can fire a .38?
A co-worker was certin that it could and I said no.But then last time I checked I didnt know everything about firearms so I humbled myself and settled with a "maybe" at least untill I could get to a computer and ask you all.

NO! a .32 bullet is .310 in diameter. A .380 is .355 in diameter. Cases are also different. DON'T DO IT!
In any type of fight, & especially gun fights, there are no winners ..... just varying degrees of losers. The only fight you win is the one you never get into.

a good rule of thumb is to stick with the caliber printed on the gun

Definitlely a no-no. This reminds me of someone arguing that an chambered in 7.62x39 can fire the 5.56, because it was designed to do that in case they ran out of 7.62x39 ammunition. Whoever these AK toting fools sure are optimistic.

Yes! On the gun like the barrel. I witnessed a friend fire 243 Win ammo out of an HKSL7 because the magazine had 243/308 stamped on it. Fired the rounds like there was no problem except the accuracy was pretty bad.
