    1911 Question

Took my stainless Sig 1911 out today and had a blast. When I was done I noticed that the entire front of the slide was caked in powder residue. Is this normal? Never noticed that on 1911's before but I've never shot a stainless before.

You must not shoot very much. It's normal on all firearms.

Thanks, I figured it was but just wanted to make sure I didn't have a problem. This pistol shoots better than me.

Normal. Gun powder residue shows well on SS pistols.

Well technically the pistol is a Sig 1911 GSR.
