Why not keep the XDm?

Or at least wait until people start freaking out about the change to the PPT laws, and start going crazy over getting off roster guns before the changes go into affect?

I think it's a horrible idea. Your essentially trading a great off roster polymer pistol for a low end 1911 with no upgraded features.

I have an XDM and would love a milspec 1911, but in now way would I ever sell it or trade it to get one.

Sell it!!!! You could always add performance parts to it, like the beaver tail etc. Only downside is no rail on the milspec.
