I've got one too. Great gun, no complaints, overall.
On the plus side: never had a failure, magazines are reasonably priced, looks really cool with the OD frame. The reason I chose this over the competition was the grip seemed just a bit thinner which fit my hand better.
Only downside I can think of is the dots on stock sights are a little small making them less visible than some of the other polymer guns. -
yeah the sights could definately be better, even tho this gun barely fits in my midget paws i sure am a xd guyI've got one too. Great gun, no complaints, overall.

Awesome gun, just got mine out last week, runs real nice, has a fantastic feel and ambidextrous mag release is a plus. I have a trigger kit, aftermarket guide rod and recoil spring. I plan on upgrading the sights next but the original ones are adequate. It's also paired with a TLR2 laser/light combo that just fits it perfect. I like this gun more than my 1911!Comment

I love mine. I bought it as home defense gun, but I enjoy using mine for general range shooting and competition, also.
My only must-do is a trigger job on the gun. The XD's trigger isn't horrible, but it is fantastic with a trigger job.My friends and family disavow all knowledge of my existence, let alone my opinions.Comment

Have had a XD45 Tac Two Tone since it was introduced like years ago. Only major complaint is the Smooth Slide if your hand get get, bloody,or in heavy dew outside the slide gets slippery and not as positive a grip. So I am looking for a smith to do some stippling on the slide to give a more permanent grip not to ruff and maybe some XS Big Dot sightsComment

i had some grip tape on the slide on my xd9, it ended up being very rough to your skin. I am looking into the xs big dot as wellHave had a XD45 Tac Two Tone since it was introduced like years ago.
