I want an M&P Shield 9mm - question about source...

I would like to get an M&P Shield 9mm, I would much prefer to have one of the standard versions without the huge bright red LCI...is there a dealer in the bay area (close to north bay) who can directly source and sell these as a SSE rather than me having to locate one out of state and do a transfer SSE?

Any suggestions as to what the easiest way is to acquire one?

I believe Riflegear does SSE for the shield.

Did you check out the sticky at the top of the forum regarding the whole SSE process? It actually has a list of FFL's that will do SSE's, including a few in the Bay Area.

Got mine in Elk Grove SSE about a year ago. If you find one without getting line you will be lucky.

I called them about 6 weeks ago. They said they would not ship to Cali.
Had to get mine from Idaho.

I bought one from Riflegear, had it shipped to Tracy Rifle and Pistol and they did the SSE. It can be done, not at the bargain prices other states pay but it can be done.

Find an FFL in your area that will SSE it and then find it online from a California dealer such as Riflegear.

If he wants a Shield, let him get a Shield. CCW or no CCW.
