Sending the gen4 to a CA FFL is not a prob. U don't need to be a FFL. Fed law allows individuals mailing firearm to any FFL in the US. As for how the buyer take possesion is between him and his FFL. CA law does not affect interstate commerce. CA FFL will not transfer the firearm unless it is legal to do so on his license.
Mag is different. CA resident can only "import" repair kits for standard size mag. Repaire kits, generally stripped down functional mags, therefore, is the only parts that can be sent to the buyer directly.
To save any hassel, contact buyer's FFL directly to make sure he can transfer.Comment
