Id be lying if i said i wasent jealous....

Glad you like it ! That checkering on the frame is sweet. I wish all polymer pistols had checkering like that on the front and back like 1911's.

Not bad at all.

I'm not a big fan of the 1911 either. Sure it's pretty, and has a lot of history behind it, but I hate how it feels in my hands. Wouldn't mind having a collectible quality one just to have, but it wouldn't be in my top 10. Diff'rnt strokes for diff'rnt folks

It doesn't matter as long as it proves reliable and you like it. Congratulations.

[geoliquid]

very nice gun.

[wurger]

Nice gun, aside from that nugget thing on the base of the mag.

I have a couple of 1911's. I love them and they're great shooters but I don't know that I would recommend them for your first 45.
I also have a Glock 21 Gen 4 and a M&P 45 that I absolutely love to shoot. Those two plus the SIG P220 would have been my choices for a first 45.
I have to admit your FNP looks like a very nice gun. In fact I think I'll add it to my wish list for this year.

[damngato]

Very nice! It's a beauty!

damn that's sick!
