    Colt Woodsman

I was looking at a Colt Woodsman pistol the other day and when I pulled the magazine and checked it out the follower seemed to be missing or does it look kind of like a lollipop? It consisted of two pieces of thin metal pressed together with a loop on one end. Is this the normal follower or was it missing? From the serial number the date of manufacture was probably 57 or 58, series 3.

That's the follower. It looks a little strange, but they work.

Yep, normal. Hardest thing is finding replacement mags that work well.
