XDS 45 or Kel Tec P11?

If you guys were to choose between these two guns for a primary conceal carry piece, which one would you choose? I'm looking for my first conceal carry gun. I intend to shoot about 50 rounds a month to stay proficient, and am a little concerned that the Kel Tec may not be able to withstand that much shooting. Even on their website, they say their guns have a service life of around 6,000 rounds. However. it is half the price of the XDS, plus it carries 10+1 as opposed to 5+1 in the XDS. The XDS seems to be the better gun at the range, with better accuracy, ergonomics, sights, and manageable recoil. Both of the companies seem to have excellent customer service and warranties, which is why I'm drawn towards both of them.

Really?? This is a total apples to oranges comparison. One is a subcompact single stack .45 and the other a 9mm double stack. I don't have first hand experience with the p11, but the xds 45 is kinda a handful. Also the P11 is a DAO vs striker fired. Just so many differences. I say shoot both and carry the one you shoot the best with.

Make your own decisions. Too many threads about which gun I should buy. Buy both. Thats what I do when im torn between two that I really want.

XDS gets my vote, buy extra mags to carry if you're looking for a gun fight. I use a leather an pouch to carry my extra mag and no one is the wiser

I'm interested in the XDs9 when it comes out, maybe the 40. I've shot the .45 and although I'm a big fan of the XD line, the XDs45 is just a bit much for me. Haven't shot the keltec yet but have kept my eye out.

Since you can usually grab a p11 for under $300, just pick one up. It's not for everyone, I like mine but I worked on it for a while to make it smooth and function perfectly. Resell it if its not for you. The pps looks nice, feels nice, I haven't shot one yet though. Have you checked out a shield?

No such thing as a Shield in .45, FYI.

I ccw a P-11 and it's a good choice for what a ccw gun should be. The P-11 has a long DA trigger pull, but it's reliable and doesn't jam whether I use factory or reloads. It's small and relatively light weight. The P-11 also uses Smith and Wesson magazines, so I can use 15-round magazines with the pistol, even if the mgazine sticks out the bottom of the grip. I carry the P-11 with a 10-rd in the gun and a 15-rd spare magazine, so I have a total of 25 rounds, though I hope I never get into a situation where I would need it all. As for durability, I have fired thousands of rounds from my P-11 and the only thing ever broken was the recoil spring guide rod, which Kel-tec replaced free of charge. I don't know where this 6000-round lifetime came from.
