    Somebody stop me...

Seriously...it's been a gun a week for a month now.

Just couldn't pass this up as it has been pretty high up on my list of wants for a while.

Sig P226 railed, lightly used with 3 15 round mags. Guy I bought it from had planned on using it for competition, put 100 rounds through it and couldn't get used to DA/SA trigger configuration, so he sold it to finance a Springfield XDm competition. I feel like I got a hell of a deal, he showed me his original receipt for everything from a few months ago...over $950 after tax He sold it to me for $750.

I have to say that this is a beautiful gun. I am excited to go shoot it on Thursday. Just trying the trigger with snap caps I am extremely impressed. Sig claims a 10# pull in double action but there is no way...I have felt 10# triggers on revolvers and this feels closer to 6 to me. The only thing that I can say I don't like so much is the fact that the trigger reset is so far back from where it breaks...anything I can do about that? Other than that the gun is perfect.

"Moms Demand Action" sounds less like a gun control group and more like the title of a porn flick from the mid-90s.

So what? If you've got the funds, keep going. Safes don't fill themselves up, you know.

open your safe, take a deep breath, and contemplate how often you shoot each gun. how much enjoyment do you get out of each one?

then decide if you should slow down or buy more ^_^

Ther is no limit (yet) so if you can afford it, keep on expanding that collection, even if you don't shoot them all a lot. Maybe start a string of various 1911's, different time periods, manufactures, etc. or something along those lines.
        Sorry, not sorry.

There is a sig short reset trigger "srt". It's like $50 in parts and easy to install if you're ok with stripping your gun down to the frame. Or you can send it off to sig and have it done for $100 with parts.

Nice P226! I had the same affliction as well too a while back - literally ppt each week or sometimes twice a week! I've slowed down considerably after looking at the bank account!!

LOL. OP, I cut my handgun safety card to stop the addiction but it was useless. I ended up getting a replacement card and bought more.

Have to love the freedoms of a living in a free state. Here that would be a 10 day wait along with a 35 dollar dros fee along with a handgun safety card if you don't have one. What else have you bought. Btw way nice pick up.

Trust me, I know. I only left CA 9 months ago.

                            I purchased a Beretta Nano, S&W 637-2 Performance Center and a Taurus M94 4" 22lr revolver.

All of those were brand new guns. One of the nicer things here in AZ, aside from FTF transaction with no FFL involvement are the facts that you don't get charged any extra fees when purchasing a handgun (no DROS or background check fees) and if you have a CCW permit they count that as your background check, so you are out of the shop with your new toy as fast as you can fill out a 4473 and give them your money.

As for other purchases. I feel like I have everything that I really want in terms of "modern" firearms. I have been really wanting to try Cowboy Action shooting for a while, so I may be picking up a single action revolver and lever action rifle in a matching caliber, just can't decide whether to do 45 colt or 357 magnum, since I already reload 38/357.
