Hi-Point C9--i know the stigma

Definitely worth it if you find one that isn't a scam! They're ugly as hell but my c9 was more accurate than some of the Glocks/XDs/etc I've shot and the heavy slide makes recoil very very light.
I just sold mine today in the private sales section with a holster, 3 mags, hard case + lock, and a few boxes of 9mm ammo for $150 to fund more upgrades for my 1911, but if I was a wealthier man who wasn't afflicted with a terrible case of 1911 sickness I would've held onto it for life! It's a decent pistol that you don't have to worry about treating roughly or scratching up.Comment

i talked to him through text message today at work and after about 5 texts it was fishy. first his friend was an ffl. then he was an ffl. then there was a "Free" way which included me sending in my own paperwork and the gun shipping straight to me. then his price dropped 3 times. after a while it was fun just to read his crap. all within about 40 texts.
i went in smelling fish. if its too good to be true, it probably is.I don't own any guns...they're dangerous.

That is a great idea. I was planning on getting a Sigma for mine. IMO, that is a perfect car/bob gun.*********************

How the heck did you even come across this gun for sale.i talked to him through text message today at work and after about 5 texts it was fishy. first his friend was an ffl. then he was an ffl. then there was a "Free" way which included me sending in my own paperwork and the gun shipping straight to me. then his price dropped 3 times. after a while it was fun just to read his crap. all within about 40 texts.

I wouldn't touch it if the story's changed and there is illegal activity wanting to be done.
Just think to yourself..80$ worth it?Last edited by xxINKxx; 05-13-2013, 7:34 PM."If a law is unjust, a man is not only right to disobey it, he is obligated to do so." - Thomas JeffersonComment

some guy on armslist.com. i've bought once and sold 3 times from there. scams and idiots just like on craigslist. only took me a few text messages to realize he was a scammer. then i let him ramble hoping maybe he was on a pay per text or 500 text/month plan.I don't own any guns...they're dangerous.

That's a shame. I bought my .380 for $90 from a long time, upstanding calgunner. Hell, he even paid the $25 DROS! That ment, all I had to pay was the $10 FFL PPT fee along with the $90 I gave him. Man, what a scoundrel! All that trouble, time, and risk for $80. Dude should take that same tenacity and go to school to learn a trade. Much better pay and, oh yeah, its LEGAL!Comment

there are those in life that live by the saying... "if it's not stolen, there's no fun in owning it." training has nothing to do with it.Comment

If you have a Glock, it is a good companion since it is one of the few guns that will make a Glock appear pleasing to the eye.

That is the quote of day and I may just steal it form my sig! .... Yeah they are good pistols and Bertha's sister is a good worker....
