    LAX 9mm ammo underpowered???

Just curious if anyone else has had experiences with LAX reloads. In particular, the 9mm rounds. I know most reloads in general are made economically, which sometimes means underpowered or less high-end components. thoughts?

I always tend to set my expectations low on reloaded ammo from a dealer. It saves disappointment when shooting it. The only ammo, I have ever purchased from LAX is factory stuff at local gun shows.
I have purchased reloads from Mywall and it worked good enough.

I used to buy LAX reloads all the time in 9, 38 spl, and 45. They always worked great and burned as clean as any factory ammo. Then about a year and a half ago I started to have problems with their ammo in all of my guns and it started burning really dirty. I don’t know if they changed who they buy their raw supplies from or if their QC has just gone downhill, but I will not buy their reloads anymore.
If I had to describe myself in one word it would be "bad at following directions"

I love their 45 and my mom has no issues with their 9. I refuse to buy miwal due to a batch of 556 that kept blowing primers and destroyed my mags

I have been using LAX reloads for some time now. 9, 40 and 45 and i have had only a few FTF on there 40 reloads. Other then that, they work fine.

I just ran a box or 500 reloads in .40 and not one bad round.

Tried 2000 rounds of 9 mm in September of 2012. Generally was dirty, and hot. Overall recoil feeling was like Federal rounds. Noticed more metal particles? in the firearm when cleaning compared to factory loads. I mostly just shoot OC indoor range rounds or field time training and target reloads. OC indoor rounds are cleaner and light, while field time training and target rounds are clean and hot. I just have better sources and places to go for ammo and with the year membership with field time I get discounts on ammo.

I've never had any issues with 9mm reloads from LAX... I've run several thousands of rounds with no issues. I wouldn't say they are underpowered also...

I've run over 3k of 9mm, 1k of 40 and 2k of 45 in various hand guns (glocks, Colt, M&P, and Sigs) over the last 18 months with no problems at all. GTG

I've gone through 800 of 1000 rounds of LAX 40 SW reloads that I bought at a gun show. As long as they seem to go straight for 25 yards I can't complain. No problems yet. Recoil seems the same as the other 180gr FMJ that I shoot.
I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong...

LAX 9mm reloads = recoil ranging from .22 to 10mm. Scariest ammo I've ever shot.

Ran 500 rounds of their reloads through my M&P9 last year, shot fine, one FTE out of 500.
