Glue Glock Gen 4 Backstrap on Gen 3??

    Anyone tried it?

I'd like to try just a slightly larger grip. Seems like it should work with some minor trimming.

+1, I agree. Dont think glue would hold up very well.

You could just send it off and have it customized to fit your hand. They add material to the frame. Ive seen it done and held a Glock that had it done. Didnt look too pleasing to the eye, but it was definately more comfortable.

If you want a Gen4, you could find one in the for sale section or find one on Gun Broker and do a SSE

Or you could buy a M&P that already has better ergonomics and interchangable back straps.

Your other option would be to add a beaver tail to your Gen3

A few wraps of duct tape should do it.

They already have too big of a grip lol. Hogue grip wrap should fix it for ya!

This. Spend the $20, try the gripforce before you ruin something.

Have you tried GripForce adaptor? If it's still not big enough for you, slap a Hogue grip over it.

Easy to do to have it completely reversible with no damage what so ever.

'Glue' is a generic term. There are a million types of adhesives out there for every purpose you can think of and a whole bunch you couldn't imagine.

If I do it I'll post pics.

It won't be easy as there are grooves in the Gen 4 frames to accept the backstraps. The grip angle is slightly less extreme as well. The GFA will give you the desired effect.

I'm aware of the notch for the backstrap. But I didn't notice the grip angle difference. That pretty much negates that experiment. Been a long time since I was in a place that had both gen 3s & 4s at the same time.

I'll probably skip the GFA because it's only half the backstrap and the beaver tail doesn't matter so much. By the way I asked the GFA guys why the didn't make them with the full backstrap. The said Glock wouldn't allow it and they could only do the short version.

I'll find something else to play with.
