Glock 21 Gen3..

I have recently purchased a NIB G21 Gen3. Beautiful weapon that it is, I would like to get information on it's manufacture date. Is there a site I can visit or is there anyone who knows where this info can be located? I do have the little brown envelope containing the two empty casings with #s printed on the env. if that will help me.

also, as Bodh1 stated...test fire date on the envelope, will give you manufacture date, or close to it...

On brown env it states Date Collected 11-14-12. So this would be the approx manufacture date for my gun? It also has an FFL# typed on it. Would that help me in gaining any further info? This may be a dumb question but I'm pretty sure from this guns grip markings that it's a Gen3, are they or were they still manufacturing NIB Gen3's in Nov. 2012? Thanks again for any replies. I believe they're still making Gen3. Gen 4 isn't available in CA (at least not without SSE).

11-14-12 should be close to manufacture date...I think that may be glock's FFL #, but not sure.

You can always call glock and ask...not sure if they'll divulge that info

Uhh call Glock n give em your serial number, they can tell you in seconds. I did it with my mossberg.
