    DROS Date Question & Example?

I've got a quick question that I'm sure has been covered very well, but I would like to make sure on these non PTP sales. I purchased a handgun from a store (FFL) on 04/20/2013, and picked it up on 04/30/2013. During that period, I bought another handgun from another store (FFL). I am flying to a client on 05/20/2013 so I would not be able to start the DROS process because it has not been 31 days? The earliest I would be able to do is 05/21/2013? Thanks for your help.

Yes, safer that way. Do it on 5/21/2013 or later. You're out at a client on 5/20/2013 anyways. Focus on making money off that client

For reference, however, you can technically do it 1 min after the 30th 24-hour period. So if your last DROS for a new gun was on 4/20/2013 at 2:00 PM, your next DROS for another new gun should be on or after 5/20/2013 at 2:01 PM.

Maybe your dealer will allow you to fill out the DROS and date it 5/21. The dealer can then file it on the morning of the 21st while your on your business trip.
