I have shot both the G27 and G26. I like them both but found the 26 easier to handle. So i went with the 26.

You really should try them both and go from there.

    Just my 2cents.

Glock easier to shoot and faster follow up.
Glock 27 little more recoil, but manageable..
I have both... Can't go wrong with either one.

You can shoot 9mm out of a G27 with a conversion barrel and 9mm mags for better feeding reliability. I bought a Lonewolf .40 to 9mm conversion barrel for $98 shipped and shoot both calibers depending on what ammo i can find. I think there is also a .357 sig conversion barrel avaliable.
Tactical is a mindset, NOT an Equipment list.

            I dig my little G27 a lot.

Both are good. I got mine in 40 since it holds 10 with a +1 grip adapter. (max allowed capacity in CA)

If you're going to carry and want a .40 its a fantastic gun. If you are going to occasionally carry and want a .40 I'd say get a 23. If it's just for range and home then go with the 22.

Some people will say 40 call has too much kick... I just tell them to go lift some weights lol

right? im not to worried about the kick from the .40 to much. Plus i already have a different hangun in 9mm and i dont have any .40 handguns at the moment. i've heard about the .357 sig conversion barrel, im sort of interested in that. i havn't shot a .357 sig yet but from what i hear its a pretty sweet caliber.

                      I asked the same question.

Do it!! I love my G27!!! The kick is not bad at all.

The 27 is nice and small. I like the 23 better since its a little bigger but still not full size. Its a good medium.

                          +1 for that.

go to a range that has both put 50 rounds thru each and pick one. thats what I did I'm 5'7" muscular build double taps with the .40 are not tough at all for me. Really cant go wrong with the subcompact glock. imho best gun ever for $/quality ratio. I snagged mine for 370.00 way back in 08'

I shot the G23 for the first time last week and loved it. Low recoil and easy to control. For me personally, I'm a fan of the compact Glocks (19,23) versus the standard Glocks (17, 22).

I purchased a G26 from a fellow Calgunner. Never shot one and didn't get to hold it till the PPT. As soon as I held it I fell in love. Grip extension on the magazine is money. 2-fingering the grip didn't feel bad at all either.

Breaking it out of jail on Monday. My first Glock and it's cute.

shoot one first. that little gun has recoil. some are not bothered by it, but others are. if you don't like the recoil you will not enjoy shooting it.
