    Beretta 92 locking block kit?

Anyone know who in Los Angeles has spare parts for the Beretta 92FS? It is the LASD issued duty firearm, someone has to have a locking block kit here in LA. I've tried LAX, Reddings, Beretta USA is out of stock. Midwest shooters has it for $20 more than Beretta's retail price.

Bolsa Gunsmithing usually has locking blocks in stock. They go for $50 or $60 each IIRC. Call them first to make sure they will sell you one since they have been known to not sell parts they have if they aren't going to do the repair work.

Thanks Kruzr! I called Beretta USA parts and left a message. They called me back about 1 hour ago and I am all set with my parts on the way. It's amazing how much trouble we can get into with credit cards

I'd hazard a guess that department armorers handle all those repairs.
It's not like your average beat cops are taking their issued duty guns to local shops to be serviced...

I went thru this last year.
Bolsa wouldnt sell the kit, unless they repaired it. They were 4-6 weeks out on repairing a 92.

          So I called Beretta.
At the time, the "kit" was $94. It includes the block, plunger, and roll pin.

          Priced individually the parts are...
          Block - $56
          Plunger - $3
          Roll pin - $1.50

          $71 shipped.

Dave Olhasso has everything for your 92fs..at pretty much cost. I've gotten many things from him for my 92fs and he ships as soon as he's paid. He gets his stuff from Beretta of course.

$60 for the locking block assembly.

Gotta love the Al Gore math...

              56+3+1.50=94?

So I am at El Pollo Loco last night getting dinner before class.
The combo #12 is nachos with chicken on top and a drink.
The individual nachos with chicken is 4.99 and a drink is 1.49
The price for a #12 combo is 6.99.

              More Al Gore math...

              4.99+1.49=6.99?

Total with tax for Nachos and a drink when not ordered as a combo is 6.82

another excellent use of the 03FFL, I was able to get the locking block, roll pin, plunger and new recoil spring for 60 bucks.
