I got my hands on a SASS conversion unit in .308, it's inbound as we speak.
Now I have to find a 1911 frame or gun to put it on, since I'm not going to cannibalize any of my 1911's.
I know we can't normally buy a 1911 Frame, other then PPT of course, I wonder though as to use only for a single shot?
Any ideas? Or does this require a letter for clarification to the DOJ?
