Trigger kit for Beretta 92FS to shorten DA pull?

Is there a kit or modification that will shorten the DA pull on a 92FS?

    Thanks guys...

I don't know of anything that will shorten the country mile that is that first shot DA pull on the 92FS, but factory "D springs", or the Wolf equivalent lighten it up a lot.

I want to say that there is a kit, but I can't remember if it was for the Beretta or the CZ. Check over on the Beretta forum, they'll know if there is one.

Beyond the 92D or equivalent spring, I don't know of any other major improvement you can do to the Beretta's DA trigger. Let's face it, that long DA gives you a chance to change your mind on that first shot. It's long by design. If it's a feature that truly bugs you, switch platforms. If you shorten and lighten the DA to where it's close to the SA then you've defeated the purpose of the DA.

Good point. I was aiming for "just a tad shorter" but that does make sense to me...

It is easy to fit a "short trigger" to the SIG because of the big fat stamped trigger on the gun. There isn't much you can do to the Beretta however since the trigger is fairly thin and is just about in contact with the frame when the round goes off.

There is nothing wrong with the big Beretta that would keep me from being content with the pistol if there was about 0.50" less trigger reach in DA mode.
