CZ 75 Compact VZ grip question

I had some, don't think they are thinner, but I never had a problem with grip, and ended up with crimson trace. The only grips I have heard of that are definitely thinner are aluminum, and I am not sure they make them for compacts.
VZ grips are WAY overpriced for what they are made of, imo. You can get unique beautiful Marschal grips for the same money.*REMOVE THIS PART BEFORE POSTING* -
I have a SP-01 and I ordered a pair of VZ grips and they were thinner than the stock ruber ones that came with my gun. The VZ grips are tough, solid and look great, but the color looked different in person than on the website. I ended up sending them back and picked up a set of aluminum grips from the CZ USA website. I believe the aluminum grips are slightly thinner than the VZ's. CZ Customs website also has their version of the aluminum grips too. You would think that aluminum grips would feel cold or harsh, but they are a good blend between grip and comfort. I would highly recommend them!Comment

I wouldn't pay that much, and didn't. It is a cool feature that takes some training to use effectively and does not replace actually being able to aim and shoot, and hit.
I would pay $400 for CT before paying anything for VZ grips. As I said, I had them, and don't get the appeal.Last edited by paul0660; 04-26-2013, 1:19 PM.*REMOVE THIS PART BEFORE POSTING*Comment

I tried those grips on my 75BD, turns out they look exactly like the factory ones(to me). So I exchanged for the FRAG. Neither are thinner. Feel the same.
