Lone wolf match barrel for G19--fitting issues ?

Alright, just got my new match barrel from Lone wolf and dropped it in my stock g19. The slide is very difficult to rack and with the gun empty/no mag, it's very difficult to activate the slide release. Any suggestions ?

I have not fired any rounds yet.

    thanks

Drop in = some fitting required
some fitting required = gunsmith fit
gunsmith fit = bring your wallet.

LoneWolf makes drop in, not gun smith fit barrels. It should be a little tighter than OEM, but still work. Call LoneWolf. By the way, it will not be any more accurate than the OEM, but you can run alot more lead rounds thru it and much easier to clean.

It prolly has to do with the recoil spring guide seat. Is the assembly positioned correctly?

That's what crossed my mind too.

I had a G23 and a LW conversion barrel, it ran with no issues. But on one occasion, it was a lot stiffer to try to rack. The gun was pretty dirty with a lot of build up from cheap ammo and the LW barrel seats in very tight. I gave the slide a quick cleaning/wipe down and I was good to go again.

Your barrel might just be out of Spec? Keep us posted, I'm curious to what your issue is.

I have LW barrels for my G17,G19 and G26 and they all dropped in perfectly.

You probably got a out of spec barrel. Good luck!

I will try it on my friends G19 gen 3 tonight see if I notice any difference.

                        Does it matter if it's a gen 1, 2 or 3 slide ?

                          Ain't that the truth.

My guess would be the same as others, might be slightly out of spec. I had a threaded barrel for my G19 and I have a standard barrel for the G26 and both of them work great, my understanding is that lone wolf does a good job taking care of their customers, they should make it right.

Tested on a G19 gen 3 and a g26 gen 4. No issues. Perfect fit.
Pb is my slide is an old 1996 G19 gen 2. So I take back everything I said about LW
