NYPD glock 19 mag size?

Hey all i just bought an nypd glock 19 (gen 2) and im wondering because its from ny and its older is, it legal to have 15 round mags since thats probably what it came with? Its my first handgun and i think it fits me perfect!

Doesn't matter what the gun came with originally.

It matters when and how you acquired the magazine in CA.

If you have 15 round mags for that gun you possessed in California before 1 Jan 2000, you may use those mags.

Otherwise, you may not import or manufacture a 15-round magazine, nor may anyone in CA sell you any.
