    So Cal Guns coming back?

I was just looking at a list of New Business Licenses applied for in San Diego, and saw one for Southern California Gun on Convoy with a Start Date of 4/20/13.

    Anyone know anything about this?

Last I heard they were shut down. I remember seeing 5-6 LEO coming out with boxes of documents.

Yeah they were, and the space has remained empty.

This appears to be a NEW license.

I would be all for it. They always had a nice used/consignment section.

So I'm driving by today, and saw a So Cal Guns banner hanging outside the old store.

I hereby predict they are coming back in some form.

from what I heard, they did their background stuff manually (written) and not by computer. something ended up slipping through the cracks and someone got a firearm that shouldn't have and they got caught up. basically had no chance of fighting it and just closed shop.

Saw the banner also; anyone know if the orignal owner sold the rights to the name or what?

Hopefully the relaunched store isn't a disappointment.

So... ya know the old store's info went to the DOJ (or is it ATFE? I can never remember)when they closed. If ya bought anything there guess who has yer info.

The legislation that, if passed, will prohibit transfer of off-roster handguns via PPT unless the OR handgun is being transferred to a Roster exempt person.
