Question about Kahr PM9 (Any changes since it was 1st released??)

I don't believe they've made any significant changes. I've got an earlier model that looks and feels just like the ones out on store shelves today.

They had an offer to contour and polish feed ramps for people using Gold Dot ammo IF there was a feed problem. This was on early models. don't confuse this with the Kahr traight of wanting the first round loaded by using the slide release instead of racking the slide or slingshot. This is detailed in the instruction book that may not come with your older gun. I polished mine as I was given a lot of Gold Dot and I never had a problem before or after. I think mine was made in 2004-5? Anyway, like Glocks or Bleu Cheese salad dressing your either a lover or a hater. I regret selling my old 2-tone PM9 often. Practice a bunch to make friends with the trigger pull.

I'm a big Kahr fan, I've owned several different models, all polymer, Kahrs can be hit or miss, you must follow the break in period before you should expect it to be reliable.

But even properly broken in guns can have issues, I've never had any issues, some may say I've been lucky?

The manufacture can give you a build date by the SN.

Is your slide squared off up front, or do the sides taper in at the muzzle? Tapered are the newer ones. I've had both and the tapered is a bit easier to holster.
