    The original ammo was supposed to be able to, they now make a "civilian" version available to us.

        The SS190 is considered 'Armor Piercing' and is sold to Law Enforcement only, practically even SS190's AP ability is lacking. The commercial stuff that is available is about as armor piercing as any handgun ammo is (which is to say, not very much). If something that has real punch is your idea of fun, try a 7.62x25 handgun like the Tokarev.
