Gotta send the P22 back AGAIN

****ers I hate this damned thing. This is the third time it'll be going back. First time, at 300rds the mainspring broke. Then the safety would shoot itself on. And now its doing it again. Took it out yesterday "bang bang bang click". The freakin safety just goes on automatically.
Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

I bought one of these a few months ago at Turner's for $290, and I hate it. It jams more than any other gun I've ever shot. I have the new magazines that supposedly cured the jamming problem. Yeah right.

I wish that I'd never bought this thing. I wonder if Turner's will take it back for a store credit. I doubt it.

Thanks for the heads up, was looking into one of these for the GF. She'll have to stick with the Ruger for now.

Had one a couple of years ago. Went back twice for repairs. Probably the most unreliable gun I've ever owned. Traded it in at a shop, took a beatin', but it was worth it!

My p22 safety got realy loose yesterday also and it activates also real easy while shooting the gun, jamming alot as well. I also hate this gun. I wonder if Sig fixed their Mosquito issues.

J&G does not ship OL rifles to california, even the wasr-22's:

I didn't know the P22's were that bad. I guess I dodged a bullet there by buying the Ruger MKII for my wife instead.

They suck. I only bought it because its the only one that the wife said she'd shoot. I sold my Berreta 21a that never jammed to buy the biggest POS ever. I'm never going to buy another Walther again. The first time I sent the gun in I got a letter back with it saying "pending repair bill". What a bunch of BS the gun was a month old.

As bad as everyone seems to think these things are... nobody will sell me a problem gun for cheap.

I want a broken/problem/not working one to work on.

I think I can figure it out (and If I can't, Sal definitly can )

After purchasing a P22 in October 2002, 2 factory trips (failed to lock back on last round) even using the CCI stingers. Got rid of it in April 2003. Traded it in for guns shop credit to get a real .22, the browning buckmark.
