    Beretta PX4 Storm Subcompact

Does anyone have this gun in California?

I can't seem to find any available PPT because it's just so hard to obtain it here in CA due to the "DOJ LIST"

If anyone can help me find one or have one that they want to get rid of, I'm you're guy..

I like the full size but the SC is what sold the series to me.

You should go the SSE route. Find a local FFL who does conversions, verify that they can do a PX-4 compact, find an out of state FFL who has one in stock, buy it and have it shipped to your local FFL. The rest of the process is the same as if buying rostered handgun.

PPT works as well, but you're getting a used gun and depend on private individuals wanting to sell one.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by converting. They can make conversions like that for an SC as well?

Also, yes, the Sub-Compact is very hard to come by, even for a PPT

The "conversion" is a process of replacing the barrel and blocking the magazine, transferring the gun to you as an SSE, then converting it back to the original configuration. The end result is that you get the gun you want. The trick is that the local gun store must own the conversion parts.

Read the stickies on SSE - you'll find all the info you need on how it works.
