    New (to me) XDm .45

I just picked up an XDm .45 yesterday. Went shooting today. Man, I love this thing. Very accurate, and comfortable to shoot. Trigger reset is a little longer than I like, but I can live with it. I traded a G17 for it, and am very happy with the trade. The G17 was the first Glock I owned, but I've fired several, and don't get what all the hype is about. Now I just need to find some 10 round mags for the XDm before I take it into CA.

First off you should have NEVER traded your first gun. Always keep it as a keepsake, I say and also
The liberal see's the glass as half full and tries to take more.
The conservative see's glass as half empty and tries to keep it that way.
I'm with the people on the side just pouring water in the glass trying to get a drink!

Congrats, I'm on my 2nd XDm and they are great guns. My latest is a compact 45.

Check out Springer Precision or Powder River Precision if you decide to upgrade the trigger.

Good to hear more good things about the XDM. Don't think they will be roster approved here, but it is what it is. I'll put it on my wishlist for when I leave this polluted state.

No, the Glock wasn't my first gun, just my first Glock.

I have an XD 4.5" that I love. Got it for my wife and she is tiny and loves I shoot it.

I have the XDm compact .45 as well as an XDS and am extremely happy with both. I haven't owned the XDS long enough to put it through much, but can tell you the XDm has proven 100 percent reliable

I shot a members XDM and it was nice and shot great. Had better ergos than my G17, thats for sure.

Out curiosity do those of you who like/own XD's have smaller hands? I have large'ish hands and I can get my second knuckle on the trigger. It feels odd to me but I can see how someone with smaller hands would gravitate to XD's. My brother has smaller hands than me and hates my glocks but he just loves his XD.
