Sig 1911

I just just picked up my new Sig 1911. I took it out and fired 100 rounds and the gun functioned perfect. The trigger is so nice compared to my Glocks. I am extremely happy with this gun.

This is my first 1911. The only handguns I ever bought we're Glocks. I always bought Glocks before because they were reliable and they are a good value for what they cost. I had seen 1911's in the gun shops before and I just could not see paying over $1,000 for a heavy hunk of metal when I could get a Glock for half the price. Well my cousin picked up a Kimber and I shot it and after that first magazine I said I'm going to get one of these.

Nice pick for your first 1911. Doesn't it feel so much better in your hand versus your glocks?

Very nice! I had a GSR before they dropped off the list. Had probably 1500 rounds through it without a single failure... excellent value considering what you get. Only reason I sold mine was to get a TRP but I may get a commander size down the road.

I have the same gun. It's a real tackdriver. I've put about 400-500 rounds through it and have experienced about 15 failures to chamber. I am going to put about 500 more rounds through it to see if it clears up, or I will be sending it back to Sig.
