Magnum Research MR9 = Walther ?

I saw this ad on the Gander Mountian website and noticed how much the gun resembled the Walther P99 and PPQ series. Look at the grip shape, magazine release, and trigger guard. Any other P99 owners think so?

I read, I believe on m4carbine, that the frame is the same as the walther, the slide is a Magnum Research slide. And the mags are the same for both, the ppq as the MR9...

Correct me if i'm wrong.

Dwtt, you got it. Magnum Research has licensed the design of the P99 from Walther with some exterior styling changes. The PPQ M1, P99 (latest gen), and MR9 share the exact same magazines.

I would love to shoot one to see how similar it is to the PPQ.
