    Sig c3

I was looking for a reasonably priced commander sized 1911 and after reading a lot of reviews from the 1911 forum among others, decided to pick up a Sig c3 as my 1st 1911 vs the kimber cdp.

Fairly easy to field strip and clean without any extra tools. It fit very well in my hands and has a great balance.

I took it out to Jackson arms yesterday, and it was great to shoot. Very accurate out of the box, not FTF with Winchester FMJ ammo. The trigger was crisp and I did not notice any creep. It broke like glass.

Can't wait to shoot this some more. I will try to post some pics

Very nice. I've had the RCS for over a year now and it's exactly how you described your C3 to be in terms of the trigger and accuracy.

I think they are still a little hard to find. Any recommendations?
I ended up selling my 229 for this gun, and I am glad that I did. Couldn't hit anything with the 229 farther than 10 yards. Apparently the trigger mechanisms are ver different and I am not good enough of a shot to compensate

Are you talking IWB or OWB holsters?

As far as IWB holsters go the standard 1911 crossbreed supertuck works fine with the Sig RCS and I would assume the C3 as well.
