    EMPTY pistol boxes?

Not sure why I got these... But, I have these 11 empty pistol boxes and was wondering if they'd be worth selling?

They seem kind of randon so, not sure if the, "firearm's accessories" or "Ebay" would be the way to go?

Smith and Wesson Blue box (Model 658 .38 2")
    Remington green box
Cimarron Firearms (Evil Roy 4.75LC 4.75")
    Hartfield Model (45LC 7 1/2")
    Le Mat Cavalry (CL44)
    Colt Black Powder 1860 Army (Model F1203 .44 8")
    Colt Black Powder 1st Dragoon (F1700 .44 8")
    Colt 18?8 Pocket
    Cabelas BlackPowder (F. illi Pietta)
Armi San Marco 1849 Well's Fargo Steel Black Powder
    Wooden 40th Anniversary Commemerative Ruger

Has anyone sold something like these could maybe offer up some advice?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

Keep the boxes! If/when you sell your pistols, having the original box/'s goes a long way..........

Totally agree. Yes, it takes up space but, IMO, worth it. I try not to buy anything that does not come with the original packaging. I am just picky like that.

I know it's a pain and takes up space, but I'd keep them.

Tough call, some of the boxes do sell very well (eBay)

Depends on what you want to do with the guns that go with them but for me it's hard not to sell a piece of cardboard for a couple hundred bucks

OP, if you think the gun will go collector status (ex: Colt series 70) I would not.

Would you know why they would want the box?
For $200 I would sell my XD boxes, even with all fee and shipping, I think it's worth it to sell.

I've seen empty handgun boxes sell on ebay for decent prices and I've always wondered, "Why?"

I have no use for an empty gun box. However, post them on ebay and see what happens.

They would be a lot more valuable with the Gus inside . Lol, if you come across a late 80s Sig P226 box I'd be all in.

                          thanks guys!

i got the boxes empty without guns from an estate. i guess the guns were sold off before hand to an unknown party...

i'll try ebay. unfortunately, the boxes are random and mostly newer black powder pistols etc... with a few exceptions. if they were glock, colt 1911, etc... i know they'd sell quick here.

                          thanks again!

^^^^Oh they're just empty boxes and you don't have the guns? Well, sell away then! Or try to buy the guns that belong in the box.

People pay stupid prices on eBay. The S&W box is $40 probably.
