Smoothing out a glock trigger

Is changing to the 3.5lb connector something a beginner could do? I have never detail stripped my glock and it is my first handgun.

Its super easy, there are tons of videos on youtube showing how to do it

The ability to do your own mods on a Glock is one of the primary reasons I favor Glocks. Try one or all of the previously mentioned trigger mods and if you don't like it return it to stock. And again you can do all of this without a high priced gunsmith.

I second the you tube tutorials. I successfully detail stripped my 1911 and my SIG because of the extremely helpful and detailed videos on there. I just finished putting the SRT kit in my SIG myself because some people on there make their videos so detailed and easy to follow a 12 year old can follow them and end up with a working gun. The Glock is much simpler than the ones I've been working on lately. Don't worry so much. One of the best things about Glocks is parts are cheap and easy to get. If you end up losing something a replacement is only a few dollars and a few days away.

I couldnt tell the difference between factory and 25cent trigger job . but feels good that some parts are polished and shinny

Just installed a 3.5 lb Ghost trigger, 6lb ghost trigger spring and a 6lb striker spring made by Ghost . I also did the 25 cent trigger job before adding these. Added the Marine spring cups . All of the internals are polished except barrel.

There is a huge difference in the trigger of my G21 now. The trigger reset is very, I repeat very short! Shorter than my G34. I have not shot this new configuration yet but will maybe tomorrow. Will make a thread on it. The trigger feels way different. Cant say for the better at this time, Will make decision after the range trip. Only ****ty thing was I lost the safety plunger spring ,so had to use the Ghost one the spring kit came with. Wanted to keep that part stock. Still looking for it.lol Guess I will have to order one.

For my G19, I run the 3.5lb Ultimate Connector + 6lb Ghost Trigger Spring + Stock Firing Pin Spring + Stock Safety Plunger Spring. I've ran 2500+ Rounds, no issues, no glock leg, trigger break/reset is amazing. Breaks at 3lbs 8oz consistently.

I tested the Ghost Plunger Spring, it made the trigger feel more like a roll, which I did not like. The stock safety plunger spring gives the Trigger a firm wall followed by a crisp/snap trigger break. This is just my two cents based on my experiences.

The reset is very quick, smooth and did I mention quieter?

I called Glock today and they do not recommend spring cups on anything but the 9mm. So I took mine off.
