Enhanced beaver tail grips for Glock Gen4's?

Does anyone know where to get them?

I've noticed that the new Gen4's that have been shipping out lately are sold with the new enhanced beaver tail interchangeable backstraps.

I don't know where to get the OEM Glock part.

The OEM part isn't going to be available till later on this year as an accessory. It ends up being the size of the medium back strap. For now all we have is the Grip Force Adapter.

Keep an eye out on Glock Talk or eBay. I don't use any backstraps on my GEN 4's, so if mine came with them, I'd probably end up selling them. Most guys don't use a backstrap, so they'll probably be in the private sales market soon.

If your hand is to big for the short frame, they work very well. I am using the med-BT on my two gen-4's. they were both made in late April and came with the gun.

Nice! I was not aware of these beavertails so they were surely a surprise when my package arrived at my FFL

I love my grip force adapters. I can shoot with out bumping up to a medium sized backstrap and I get slide protection and a better grip angle.

Yep..... fit like a glove.. Not all Gen 4's have the snap lip on the upper rear of the frame though.... I think only the later Gen 4's do. without the snap lip, the top of the beavertail is really no attached to the top of the frame, although you can still use it.

Yep, that's what I read. Only the Gen 4 Glocks out from the factory around April-May 2013 time frame had them standard.

Wow thanks! Man, kinda pricey at $30 for each set (esp. if I want beavertails on my 17/19/26!)
