I have a comped 23. Its got less muzzle flip than a 9mm. It just pushes straight back at you. Be careful doing rapid fire mag dumps. You may end up on your rear. Honestly its a great choice just be sure to wear hearing protection cus they seem louder than the ones without ports.

      What does that mean?

      And it's ported, not compensated

      Ported G24C

      Compensated G34

I believe the "c" designation stands for compensated not ported even though you get the same effect. What I mean is I did a rapid fire mag dump with my 23c and a 15 round mag. Since it pushes back on you instead of flipping up I almost got sat down by the end of the mag. Were talking about 16 .40 cal rounds as fast as I could pull the trigger. It was fun but if I hadn't had my stance right I would have been on the ground.

You need some training c model or not, doing a mag dump with .40 should not effect your grip let alone your whole body.

I really like my G22c, good gun and soft recoil.

You'll have a really bright show in front of ya at the range with dim lighting.

            Love my 22C!

Yup, all compensated Glock's give a big flash right on front of your eyes in dim lighting. So if this is a range toy it's perfect but not for HD IMHO.

+1 for hearing protection, those 22c are loud

Prob not the best HD weapon but really effective when shooting fast. I don't see a difference in recoil but muzzle flip is greatly reduced. Your losing FPS at the barrel also, so definetly a great comp or range gun
