Anyone know where I can try out a HK P2000 and 2000sk?

How much was it to make both of those modifications?

Shak180, there is a recent thread on the HK forum regarding LEM conversion:

I'm thinking about it as well on my USP Compact 9mm.

The 2000 and sk are so close in size, I went for the full size...it still conceals very well but has nicer ergos....for me anyway...
3 day waiting period???? but I'm mad now!!!!!!

Bullseye in San Rafael rents them.

I have both in LEM and really like them. In a practical sense the biggest difference between the two is the shorter grip on the P2000sk, for me (average size hands) I can get two and a half fingers on the grip with flat mag baseplates, or all three a little squished with the standard extended baseplates. With the P2000 it's all fingers on the grip, easily. Those outside California get a little extra mag capacity with the P2000, but of course for most of us that's a no go here.

They are reliable, solidly built guns yet still fairly light, ambidextrous, accurate... just a couple of weeks ago I shot nearly identical groups with the P2000sk and with a full size gun at 15 yards.

For anyone accustomed to a two-stage trigger on a rifle, the LEM is pretty easy to acclimate to... very light pull followed by a slightly heavier break. The v2 is around 7 lbs but swapping two springs converts it to a v1 at around 5 lbs.
