What is the Best Durable Pistol Laser?

I don't use one myself but do not let the elitists get to you.
Lasers have their place and uses.
I am getting near 5 and the eyes do not focus like they use to and I can see myself using one in the future.
That being said, Surefire and Veridian are they ones that come to mind off the top of my head.Comment

Get a TLR 2 or 4 depending on your budget. They are both good products and the 4 will even fit compacts if that's what you're shooting."Suck on my machine gun" (Ted Nugent)

I personally never use a laser for actual shooting but as a training aid in assessing trigger pull, it can be a valuable tool. As far as durability, the Crimson Trace Railmaster works well for me.sigpic

There is a lot of truth here.Originally posted by jessegpresleyYou'll never use it. You'll never take a class with it. You'll take it to the range, fire a few mags and wonder why you spent $300 on it. Crimson Trace, Surefire, Insight Technologies, Streamlight are the reputable companies.
Lasers serve a limited function.Comment

Crimson trace for me. I zeroed the laser for 25ft and never use it. Why? Cause its for night use in my house. Yes that's right. When someone gets into my house, most likely it will be at night. I know my house better than anyone and ill be the guy hunting. No need to tun the lights on to see or a light on the gun to shoot. I'm sure the person will be *****ting bricks when he sees a red laser pointed at him in the dark.Comment

I've personally had good luck with Crimson Trace grips, TLR-2, and TLR-4. I like using lasers as a training tool. When I'm practicing my draw, I like to know exactly where the bullet would go while I'm point shooting.Originally posted by G. I was going to mount it on an XD40...but. I was mainly going to use it for training purposes and trigger training. Something cheap would suffice for this. Saw one for about $30 at Walmart, think it was for a pellet or BBgun. Would work until I fired the pistol.Comment

I have a Streamlight TLR-2 and I really like it. I wouldn't use the laser for aiming and I prob wouldn't even use it alone without the LED light on with it, but if I had to use it, I would be shining that 160 lumen LED and the laser right in whoever's face. If they turn around and ran, cool. If they came at me with a laser and LED pointed at them, that would just be another defensive argument on my side, they gave me no choice...sigpicComment
