I shoot RA9TA in my 3rd Gen Glock 17 and Glock 27 (with 9mm Wolf conversion barrel).
Shoots nice. Good snappy feel. I don't think the recoil is too much.

I was lucky, I bought 1000 rounds of the RA9TA (127gr +P+) before the hubbub. Still got 500 rounds sealed in the case. Thinking of getting another small 9mm, but don't know which ones will handle that ammo. (Keltec PF9, Beretta Nano)

If I read the original post correct, the point asked was about experiences had with the Ranger 9mm 127gr +p+ round, nothing about whether any specific brand can handle it or not (this case Glock). I had ran some practical experiments with that one out of an HK P30L (whose manual specifies it can handle +p+ pressures) and the 45 ACP 230gr +p round from the same manufacturer (Winchester) out of an HK 45 (to maintain the gun manufacturer variable in check) shooting both on different types of media. No fancy electronic instrumentation utilized, just purely eye observation, the results were so impressive that I sold my HK45 and the rest of my 45 ACP ammo stock after the damage I saw made with the 127gr +p+ round, pretty similar to that of the larger round, with way more controlled recoil and more follow up shots, I am sold to the Winchester 9mm 127 +p+ JHP round for HD.
