      Yes...Beretta 96 series are .40 S&W.

        For a like-new condition, I've seen them anywhere from $700-800 with standard grips. Figure another $175-200 for the Crimson Trace grips. Though your best bet is to sell the CTC grips separately.

        LLL at Beretta forum can give you all the info you need on the Elite series or any of the other models.

          Both Elites and 96s are discontinued.

          Elites are sought after since I think they come with the heavier slide and skeletonized hammer.

          I can't give you a value, but I wouldn't let them go together for much under $1k.
