Anyone ever tried one of these? Kind of a Glock clone made in UAE. They look really nice. I do not see them on the DOJ approved list though.

I have heard mixed reviews about the pistol. First reports spoke of jam issues. I hear nothing but praises from some and complaints from others. I'd like to get a hold of one and give it a try. I like the features and the price point very much. I think a few of our out of state Calgunners have one. Hopefully they will chime in. -
I've held a few, never shot or dry fired. Would like to shoot one. Wouldn't buy one personally because I prefer to buy platforms which are easy to get mags for.Comment

I've been interested in these pistols too, however I doubt we'll see them in this state. In fact due to all the recalls, we might not see this gun for awhile anywhere.

The Caracal is a "product improved" version of the Steyr M series.
The few Caracals that were imported into the USA have been recalled due to safety/malfunction issues.sigpic
