    Cool story?
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
    (thanks to Jeff Cooper)

My ammo arrived yesterday and they just left it in my front door. I thought signature was required for delivery.

Damaged crap gets sidelined and "dangerous" damaged crap really gets put aside for contact (shipper) notification.

Wouldn't be surprised if it just sat on the floor in a corner while the assigned employee went down the list.

Natchez probably called to inquire which resulted in them "finding" it in a pile of similar products.

Signature required only if you requested it from the seller you bought it from as Signature required is an option!

                    Makes sense.

                      FedEx Ground is worse!
My case of .223 was "lost" (stolen) right out of their processing facility five weeks ago.
LAX Ammo has filed a claim, I sure hope to see my refund sometime soon
Of course, I'd rather have the ammo..........

On a somewhat related note, this week i had an ammo order shipped from Cabela's via UPS, but the contents of the box disappeared at the UPS facility. UPS's tracking notes show they discarded the empty box and initiated an investigation. To Cabela's credit, they promptly shipped out a new order within 24 hours, even though the ammo I ordered had gone out of stock between the time of my order and its disappearance. I wonder if ammo shipments get targeted by UPS workers based on the shipper's address/ORM-D label on the boxes/weight of the package...

Probably got jacked up while on the way and lost a label. Sometimes a package gets damaged and they have to go thru a process to find out where it goes and why it got damaged.

I received an empty box from UPS

Their was a hole in the side of the box...

Label distinctly showed weight as 24 pounds

                            Midway shipped a second order

UPS once delivered an empty box marked ORM-D to me also. Grafs shipped me a replacement after filing a claim with UPS. Apparently not uncommon with UPS and high ammo prices.
