If you are undeterred by Wally world's "3 box of ammo" per customer per day by simply having a confederate with you with cash at hand to buy what you want on their "own" behalf, take note of this tip if that confederate is a family member of yours, such as a parent or sibling.
Do. Not. Tell. The. Cashier. That. He/She. Is. Your. Family. Member.
I had a close call this morning and almost failed to "double up" on some ammo I found at a Wallyworld when I brought my mum in to buy an extra 3 boxes for me. Ignorance and lack of knowledge kicked in, my tongue slipped during small chat with the cashier (who was Assistant Manager) and she found out that the second buyer was my mum. Luckily, she told me that the WM policy of not allowing family members of one person buying ammo to buy some in practically the same transaction is a "store policy" and not "state law," so she went ahead and sold me and my mom the 6 boxes anyhow, but I just thought I'd pass this info on to those of us on here scouring for ammo nowadays.
Of course, all this is moot if you have your confederate ammo buyer simply buy in a separate transaction without interacting with you during your own purchase so that the both of you seem like total strangers to each other, but my mum had no clue what to buy that "she" wanted lol.
Leave it to WM to have FUD policies, just like most businesses here in the PRK.
Good Luck
&
Happy Hunting!
