I don't think its worth it considering the shipping is going to add nearly 70 dollars to the total to the $130.

I'd rather support my local gun smith who can install night sights, check everything out and replace the springs for about the same price maybe less.

This topic has been discussed in a few threads. The P6 guns are typically in good functional condition. With the exception of the slide wear, the frame has very little wear and upon closer inspection, the gun for the most part has not been shot much.

I went ahead and re-blued the slide, added some lubricant as protective coat and now, the P6 looks great with very little evidence of wear. I'm replacing the existing sights with Mepro night sights and adding a stainless steel guide rod.

If you really feel it necessary to relace some of the parts, buy the P225 spare spring kit at Midway for $21. But before you do that, I'd recommend you take it to the range and feed it FMJ and test out a few home defense rounds (i.e, 147gr jacketed bullets).

I fired the hell out of mine a couple of days ago with a few different types of ammo. Flawless! Shoot it before you change it!

          Good advice. Thanks!

Mine functioned flawlessly after 200 rds.

Who makes the Siglites for the pistol?
Either Triji or Mepro... Sig sights (even Night ones) all come numbered from Sig

Night sights installed locally is $100 for me.

Could you save on shipping by sending two handguns at the same time or would that just double shipping?

FP: SIG Forum has a thread where you can borrow the SIG sight tool for free. All they ask is you send the item out to the next borrower via US Priority.

                    Here's the link: http://sigforum.com/eve/forums/a/tpc.../464101469/p/1

I recommend you email one of the owners directly instead of leaving a post to ensure quick reply.

Someone please PM and remind me tomorrow to call Wolff so I can arrange for a spring kit group buy. I want to replace the recoil spring and magazine springs; as for the others I want to keep them on hand because it is likely that they will stop making them very soon.
