CCW Gun

Ive been carrying my Glock 17 and although its my favorite gun in the world, im starting to dislike its weight and size. I would prefer to stick to 9mm but a .45 would work too. Im kind of chunky 6'3 300 and so a slim profile would be nice. Ideas?

i could get a glock 19/26, i like the lc9 but the gun itself ive read a lot of negative on it, never held a shield etc...

Glock 26 is easier to conceal than 19, but 19 is not that difficult to conceal at all. I usually carry 23,but summer time I carry either 27 or 26.

If your only problem is size and weight and you otherwise like the Glock platform, I would just get a smaller one, like the Glock 26.

I don't currently have a g17 for size comparison, but my EMP it is lighter by a few ounces, with a shorter barrel. And, they are very nice! Accurate and comfortable in the hand, with very light recoil for a 3" barrel.

The lc9 is a great carry gun, I really like mine. For me the glocks are to blockey to be a good cary gun

I carry a 19 and a 17, but the 19 is much easier to carry and prints less.

We are issued G17/22's .

From what I see . MOST people carry : Glock 26/27/19/23 off duty.

When I dress light , I like to carry single stack 9mm pistols and 2-3 inch S&W revolvers.

The 26 been my best friend fir years. The lc9 is too small for my hand.
